12 Black continued their season this past weekend at the FRISCO MO Volleypalooza tournament located in the Sting Center. Although our Saturday record was not what we had hoped for, we learned a lot from these losses and were ready to use what we learned in the Copper bracket on Sunday. for earning ace pins on Saturday! We started off Sunday by playing the Iowa Rockets, which unfortunately led to a close loss. Next we secured two wins against Fond Du Lac Fusion and Wisconsin Elite! This placed us in the Copper championship game against Mission VBC. We won the first set 25-17, lost the second set 22-25 and lost a close third set 13-15. The 12 Black team fought hard and worked well as a team, but unfortunately could not secure the win! #Shoutout to our MVP Izzie! She had numerous assists and aces, and saved us multiple times throughout the weekend with some awesome plays! Aside from her outstanding setting skills, she was an overall excellent teammate throughout the weekend! #Shoutout to Brianna for getting 2 Ace pins this weekend, and Izzie for also receiving an Ace pin this weekend! Nice job ladies. 12 Black learned so much in this competitive tournament and our skills keep improving! We are looking forward to our next tournament and many more team wins. Great job 12 Black!
